PORTA DELLA PESCARIA
We have few and uncertain information about the origins of Porta Della Pescaria. It is known that it was erected in 1478 and was demolished in 1596. It owned a brilliant architecture, it was made of carving stone, with pillars, frames and shelves. At the top it had two pedestals and some stairs in the middle. It was already unused before its demolition because fish trade moved to other districts.
