PORTA DI MAZARA
Porta Di Mazara was firstly cited after a long battle between Carl, duke of Calabria, and Palermo citizens. The gate is still present in Porta Montalto Square. This ancient gate, facing the city of Mazara was miraculously saved from demolitions. Observing the gate, above the arch we can see a coat-of-arms with three shields.
